Road Blocker

The motorized platforms, in general called road blockers, use electrohydraulic movement and are available in two different mechanical toughness and different lenghts, in order to meet all market requirements, from company driveways to the highest level of anti-terrorism protection. Many optionals items are available for PILOMAT ROAD BLOCKER in order to configure each individual system. PILOMAT ROAD BLOCKERS are built at “low outline” for limiting the depth of the basement compartment underground and to avoid the main problems of laying in presence of public services (cables ducts, drainage systems, and similar); moreover it is possible to install the road blocker “on ground level” by using a slope.

The anti-ram ROAD BLOCKER RB500 is designed to prevent unauthorized access of vehicles to sensitive areas.

It rises 500mm above ground and it is available in different lengths, from 2 meters to 6 meters.

Th hydraulic unit is mounted in an external housing which include also the electronic board.

PILOMAT ROAD BLOCKER RB1000 is the high security crash rated version  (PAS68:2013 Certification standard – Crash test done with a 7500 Kg truck at 80 Km/h), typically used for the anti-terrorism protection at the highest levels.

This perimeter protection solution is operated by an hydraulic unit installed in a separate cabinet, which allows for a quicker maintenance.

The RB 1000 road barrier requires an installation depth of 400 mm only; it rises from the ground 1000 mm and the lenghts available are : 2.000 mm, 3.000 mm, 4.000 mm, 5.000 mm and 6.000 mm.

PILOMAT ROAD BLOCKER SURFACE is designed for installation at “surface level” by means of chemical anchors, in order to avoid the execution of ground works and therefore any issues relating to the presence of sub-services.

The integrated control board and hydraulic unit give to this product a compact design.

The lengths available are : 3.500mm, 4.500mm and 5.500mm.

RBS500 road blocker is 500mm high and it is recommended for applications that require a standard security level.

NEW! RBS1000 is the high security version, crash tested at 50 Km/h with a truck of 7,5 tons (M30 level).
