Regular bollard maintenance:
safety that lasts over time.

The maintenance of bollards is a legal requirement. For Pilomat, it is also a promise to our customers: ensuring high-performance systems and safety levels that remain constant, year after year.

Routine maintenance,
extraordinary performance.

Our contracts include two scheduled service visits per year, to be carried out every six months. Managed by our in-house technical team or by selected and trained external specialists, these visits ensure full inspection and testing of each system, with replacement of any damaged components to restore the bollard to its original condition of efficiency, safety, and aesthetic quality.

Our operations include:

  • lubrication of moving mechanical parts.
  • inspection and testing of the system’s correct operation;
  • checking pressure retention and oil level, with topping up if necessary.
  • verification of all electrical safety devices: LED flasher, inductive loops, safety reverse function, traffic light, acoustic siren detector.
  • verification of connection devices such as P-Connect, remote-control receiver, GSM.
  • cleaning of the cylinder, frame, and mechanical components.
  • clearing the pit of standing water with bottom drilling to ensure drainage.
  • general cleaning of the system.
  • replacement of components with spare parts, if required.

A matter of respect.
For the environment, too.

Scheduled bollard maintenance not only contributes to the correct functioning of the system. Taking care of bollards means extending their life cycle, helping to reduce the environmental impact associated with producing new models and disposing of old ones. This is another side of safety that we want to share with our customers.
