At Pilomat, we have adopted a sustainability strategy based on three pillars: calculation, reduction, and compensation. The intelligent use of resources, the precise measurement of emissions, and direct support for green initiatives are the best practices through which we contribute to a safer future for everyone.
EPD certifications. High security, transparent sustainability.
We are the first company in the world to obtain the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification for two of our bollards: models 275/K12-900 A and 275/K12 EMB 900-A, belonging to our High Security Line. Through an in-depth study of the product life cycle, we define and reduce resource consumption, from design to disposal. This too is part of our commitment to combining excellence in security with truly sustainable production, communicated with the utmost transparency.

ClimatePartner Certified
Every day we work to achieve climate neutrality. Since 2020, we have measured our annual corporate carbon footprint with the support of ClimatePartner and, since 2022, we have also calculated the Product Carbon Footprint. This allows us to identify the most impactful areas, set reduction targets and plan effective measures to achieve them. Many reduction measures, however, require timelines that our planet cannot afford, which is why we support reduction with compensation as well, funding and supporting climate projects with social and environmental benefits.

Maintenance.
Supporting sustainability.
For us, maintenance is an integral part of sustainability: by ensuring the correct operation of the bollard over time, we help reduce the environmental impact associated with the production of new models and the disposal of previous ones.
